OUTsurance has done it again – this time they have added funeral insurance cover to their extensive range of excellent insurance products for South Africans from all walks of life. As of the 1st of June, 2018, OUTsurance funeral cover is offering a cost-effective funeral plan that is flexible, regardless of how our lives change. Premiums can be adjusted, or paused should you not be in a position to pay your insurance premiums for whatever reason.

We are all individuals, therefore premiums are never based on a “one-size-fits-all” premium option; instead, competitive premiums are based on the individual’s risk profile to ensure premiums are cost-effective and competitive. Age bands are narrowed down to quote individuals accordingly and therefore the most pertinent premiums are offered.

Flexible funeral cover products:

  • Consumers are able to choose a cover from between R30 000 and R100 000.
  • Customise your plan to suit your family dynamic – you can include your partner/spouse, up to 8 children, parents and in-laws.
  • You are permitted to add as many additional benefits to cover the extra family members included on your plan.
  • You can build your very own cover to the amount that you can either afford or that will suit your circumstances.
  • You have the option to choose the benefits that are pertinent to your individual needs.

You can get an additional R5000 cash benefit that will cover these necessities:

  • Counselling
  • Transport
  • Tombstones
  • Hearse Transport / Hire
  • Marquee Hire / Rental

Benefits from OUTsurance funeral cover:

  • Many fall on lean times in their lives, and the first thing that gets cancelled are insurance policies. OUTsurance understands that this happens more often than we like to admit, and have come up with a brilliant “Pause and Play” benefit; should you be unable to pay your premiums, you are able to pause your premiums for up to three months. Sometimes circumstances improve and premiums are paid timeously once again. Your premiums will continue as before. There will be no waiting period placed on a “Pause and Play” period.
  • Because consumers are awarded a bonus month every 12 months, these can be banked for times of need. Bonus months are not fixed and can be available at any time you might need them.

OUTsurance has been offering insurance to millions of South African consumers for the past two decades, paying out fast and efficiently. OUTsurance funeral cover has come up trumps with a flexible solution that will take care of all the needs for a dignified send-off.
